The Parent Reset Hour
Why a Reset?
We all need support. This is why we developed our 60 minute focused, collaborative session option for parents and caregivers to help you cut through overwhelm, reset your approach, and leave with clear next steps that you can use right away at home and at school. You can expect tailored guidance from the partners at District Kids, Kim Palombo and Kristin Pillay, without an ongoing commitment. Please note that A RESET is not a crisis resource and is for parents and caregivers only.
Who is The Reset Hour for?
Parents/caregivers seeking:
- Targeted guidance on academics, behavior, anxiety, ADHD/EF skills, or school supports.
- A second opinion on testing, services, or treatment plans.
- A supportive dialogue when they are not sure which intervention(s) to pursue or prioritize.
- Help when they say “I know that there is a challenge, but I’ve done all I can and need a collaborative approach to develop a plan for next steps”.
- Non-crisis services. This session is not to be used in the case of an emergency. In the event of an emergency or an immediate crisis, please dial 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
What you’ll receive
- Virtual 60 minute session with Kim or Kristin focusing on your child’s needs through a positive, strengths–based perspective
- Personalized Action Plan (within 48 hours): 3–5 prioritized steps and plan
- Resource list tailored to your needs, including referrals if needed
